Programs

Programs built around real opportunity.

Our work meets young people where they are and gives them practical ways to learn, create, connect, compete, and lead.

From idea to impact.

The Design Lab

The Design Lab is a hands-on creative entrepreneurship experience. Students learn to design products, build a brand, understand money, and pitch a business — then they actually launch it. By the showcase, participants have made their first legal business sale.

Who it serves
  • Middle and high school students
  • In-school, after-school, and summer cohorts
  • Schools and community sites across Delaware
Outcomes
  • Students launch a real product and make their first sale
  • Confidence presenting ideas to adults and peers
  • Practical money skills they carry beyond the program

The Choice Lab

The Choice Lab uses interactive scenarios, group challenges, and guided reflection to help young people practice real-life decision-making in a safe space. Participants explore consequences, values, and the pathways available to them.

Who it serves
  • Middle and high school students
  • Youth referred by schools and community partners
  • Small-group cohorts of 10 to 20
Outcomes
  • Stronger self-awareness and confidence
  • Practical life skills for school, home, and work
  • A clearer picture of what is possible after high school

  • Youth ages 6 to 17
  • Adult community leagues
  • Families and neighborhoods in Wilmington and New Castle County
Outcomes
  • Free access to organized sports for youth
  • Discipline, teamwork, and healthy habits
  • Positive relationships with coaches and mentors

Prep Zone / NIL

Prep Zone prepares student-athletes for the realities of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and life beyond the game. Sessions cover personal branding, money management, contracts, social media, and building a career whether or not sports continue.

Who it serves
  • High school student-athletes
  • Athletic departments and coaches
  • Families navigating recruiting and NIL
Outcomes
  • Informed decisions about NIL and recruiting
  • A personal brand and digital presence they control
  • A plan for life after sports

Sometimes thriving means having someone show up.

Community & Family Programming

Thriving is about more than individual success. Families need resources, young people need safe spaces, and communities need connection. We host community events, distribute essentials, run seasonal support drives, and bring partners together to show up for families.

Who it serves
  • Families and caregivers
  • Displaced and housing-insecure neighbors
  • Neighborhoods across Wilmington
Outcomes
  • Families connected to essential resources
  • Trusted relationships between neighbors and organizations
  • A stronger safety net for young people

What we are building toward.

Future Programs

We are building toward a dedicated WeThrive space where programming, athletics, and family support live under one roof. Along the way, we are piloting career pathway partnerships, a mentorship network, and year-round athletics.

Who it serves
  • Young people ready for their next step
  • Families looking for a consistent, trusted place
  • Partners who want to build something lasting
Outcomes
  • Consistent access, not one-off events
  • Measurable pathways from program to career
  • A model other communities can replicate
